Henna removal Instruction video covering the removal and aftercare for any natural henna design sealed with glue, sugar spray, or medical tape. All details of correct removal and aftercare are disclosed and if followed correctly will help you maintain a deep stain for 1-3 weeks. If you must get your henna wet in the first 24 hours after removal, first, apply olive oil or raw cocoa butter to create a waterproof barrier between the henna stain, as it's developing, and the water.

Disclaimer on your stain: Henna may stain differently, lighter, or for shorter periods of time in some places of your body. Skin thickness, oils, hormones, and body chemistry all play into how henna stains the body. If you are new to henna and the henna does not stain one area well, try another before saying a henna artist has a paste that does not work. Chances are you will take a great stain someplace else. We just need to find it. I have a friend whose legs stain great and her hands, not well at all, and usually, hands stain great! Her legs are featured here on my website, see for yourself. Help your Henna Last

-Let henna dry without letting it flake off for about 10-30 minutes (until no longer glossy) before returning to receive optional protective sealant.

-Allow dry henna to stay on the skin for 4-8 hours

-Remove with olive oil by flaking it off with a spoon or towel. Let the oil soak in, DO NOT get wet for 24 Hours.

-As the stain develops from light orange to brown over the next two days aim for minimal water exposure or apply Shae Butter before water exposure.

-Hands and feet stain best, other areas will be lighter.
